Designer’s Pick of the Week: Sally Swivel Chair

Colorful Ideas, Design Inspiration, Designers, Pick of the Week
Our pick of the week comes from Carolyn Ricciardi, a Design Consultant in our Pembroke store. It’s the Sally Swivel Chair, a chair she loves so much she bought 2 for her home! “The nice thing is that someone like me, at 5’4, is comfortable, as well as someone who’s 6 foot tall.” Because it’s transitional you can change the look with the fabric, opting for something classic like coastal stripes or a funkier look. You can also choose custom fabric to really personalize it. “It’s transitional so it blends with any décor. It’s just a good, classic chair.” Carolyn chose the Sally Swivel for her own living room. “I wanted chairs that could float without closing off the room. I love that you can see over them. And everybody…

Catherine Willey, our Framingham manager, shares her favorite pick of the week, our new Monaco bedroom, specifically the Open Nightstand. It’s a beautiful oversized nightstand with a pull-out tray and storage drawers on the bottom. “The tray is great if you want a little extra space because you do a lot of reading or you keep a glass of water on your nightstand. You could even use it as a vanity.” The craftsmanship of the nightstand sets it apart from others. Catherine explains, “Like many of our products it’s made in the US, and has an all hardwood drawer. Pantone’s 2019 Color of the Year: Living Coral Pantone’s 2019 Color of the Year is Living Coral, an energetic, golden-hued coral. Renee Devlin, one of our Senior Design Consultants, loves the choice. “I love the energy it gives off. It brings passion, warmth, and a sense of coziness to your space.” The color is a happy juxtaposition against the cold, grey months of winter. “I love it in winter because it brings that burst of warmth in. But I don’t think of it as a seasonal color. It’s a very healthy, rejuvenating color that can be incorporated year-round.” Renee’s Design Process When it came to putting together the mood board, Renee wanted to stay a little outside of the box. “I think people see a vibrant color like this and…
